Energy for All Investor Forum | NEPAL

  March 7th 2014

Investor forum is a venue where entrepreneurs can pitch a business opportunity to a panel of investors. This business opportunity can be a new enterprise or an existing enterprise that require funding for implementation or expansion.

  1. Matchmaking. There exists a gap between entrepreneurs that have bankable businesses and investors who are looking for bankable investments. An investor forum creates a venue where entrepreneurs can get an audience with investors, and in return, investors can gain direct access to a set of bankable companies.
  2. Knowledge Transfer. The entrepreneurs who present can reach out to other companies in the audience that are using the same technology or business model.
  3. Community of practitioners. By bringing together different stakeholders in the energy access space together, the investor forum creates a venue for networking and partnership building.

The event was jointly organized by RE-Source, Alternative Energy Promotion Centre and Asian Development Bank on 7 March 2014 at Soaltee Crowne Plaza, Kathmandu, Nepal
